How does it work?
Step 1
The Ellie Watch detects an event
When an event occurs — such as pressing the Medical Help Button — an alert is triggered and the Ellie Watch automatically calls our 24/7 monitoring center, also sending the person’s geolocation.
Step 2
The alert protocol is activated
The Monitoring Center operator begins speaking with the user through the Ellie Watch, and if assistance is confirmed, they dispatch help to the user’s location and notify the family.
IMPORTANT: If the Violence Situation button is activated, the operator will not speak with the user. When the call is received, the operator will listen silently to what is happening and, if necessary, will alert the police and the family.
Step 3
We stay connected until help arrives
Our Monitoring Center remains in contact with the user through the Ellie Watch until the appropriate assistance arrives.
